View all questions
Will you show me the cheapest option?+

Yes. We will always show you the lowest-priced option available. We will also explain where another contract may offer better terms, service or reliability, so you can make an informed decision.

How many suppliers can Cope Energy approach?+

Cope Energy has access to a panel of more than 30 suppliers. We approach suitable suppliers for your requirements rather than treating every supplier as equally appropriate for every business.

How does Cope Energy get paid?+

We are paid a commission by the supplier you choose, which is included in your unit rate. We disclose the commission in writing before you sign your business energy contract. You will always sign the contract yourself—without your paw print, there is no valid contract.

How far in advance should I review my business energy contract?+

It is sensible to understand your options before the contract end date approaches. Depending on the supplier and contract, businesses may be able to agree a new fixed contract up to 18 months in advance, but the right time to act depends on the market and your priorities.

Do you offer fixed or flexible business energy contracts?+

Cope Energy specialises in fixed business electricity and gas contracts. We do not offer flexible procurement.

What happens after the contract is signed?+

Cope Energy remains available to help with billing queries, supplier communication, changes of tenancy, meter issues and future renewal planning. The support we provide is tailored to the particular problem and what you need from us.

What is the easiest way to get started?+

Although we prefer to build strong working relationships through conversation, we recognise that not everyone wants lots of interaction. We can provide options without you ever picking up the phone—simply choose Get a quote. If, like us, you prefer the old-school approach, give us a call with a recent bill to hand.

However you prefer to work

Start online.
Or talk it through.

Prefer to keep things online? Send us a recent bill and we can review your position, compare suitable options and email our recommendation without an initial call. Prefer the old-fashioned way? Give us a call with a bill to hand and we’ll talk it through.

What happens next

  1. We review your bill and check the important details.

  2. We compare suitable contracts across our supplier panel.

  3. We email your options with a clear & informed recommendation—without pressure.

If anything needs clarifying, we will contact you directly.
